You’ve probably heard that saying, “it takes a village to raise a child.” I believe the same is true for creating a book. Writers need a community to succeed. We need the work of other writers to provoke and encourage us, we need organizations to unify and educate us, and we need the support of a critique group to develop and hone our craft.
